Die Kur – Era

Metal industrial with a steady beat undertone that chants at you on track ‘Attack Pheromone’ like a metronome with over hanging keyboard parts. On some tracks they have some nice Marilyn Manson Esq fuzz guitars but always with the backing of a steady beat, some of the vocals are a bit weak with the music really carrying the songs. I like the dancey sound they have on the track ’17 seconds of pure Pleasure’ which seems to cross genres but the vocals are still quite in the mix I can’t work out if this is on purpose or just a massive mistake but it does make what could be a decent album sound more like a demo CD and song ‘Forging Araneae’ is a bit out of place in places sounding more like a quite Goth song from the 80’s. The main problem is the vocals on this which means I can’t really get into the album.
