Van Susans performed at Proud Camden Tuesday March 10th – fans will know that this was their first London appearance for a long time. Van Susans performed as part of AMP Sessions, a relatively new company that have now gained a monthly slot at Proud thanks to the success of this gig.
The night saw support from Birmingham based electro-pop rock band Affairs and London based rock band Staring Out The Sun.
Van Susans consists of: Olly Andrews, Eddie Dullaway, Rob Dullaway and Holly McLatchie. On Tuesday they featured musical accompaniment by Tim Dullaway on bass and Barney Morse-Brown on cello.
The band played a set of primary new material to an audience that have been eagerly awaiting it. Their next single will be their first official release since their debut album Paused in the Moment which came out in 2012. The first of their new releases are set to be released this Spring. They did still feature a few of older tracks: ‘Rat Race’, a reworked version of ‘Served Cold’ and finished they their set with one of the band’s firsts, ‘Cha Cha Bang’.
