I met The Subways a few years ago at a local music festival, at which I was working as a mime/clown. They were jolly lovely folk and their music brought a real sense of pleasure to the day as they got everyone up and dancing.

Once more they’ve managed to deliver a track that’s absolutely killer and the twin vocals of Billy Lunn and Charlotte Cooper are as on point as ever – there are very few vocal duos out there that seem to be able to muster the level of chemistry that this pair regularly provide. There’s no mistaking who the creators of the song are as it flows with all the energy that you’d expect to hear from the trio and the slight skiffle tint that runs through this latest offering makes for very enjoyable listening indeed.

Whether you’re a fan of The Subways or not, this is one of their best efforts in recent years and is well worth a listen.
