Released last month via X-Energy/ d:vision Records, ‘If I Play Your Game’ offers up a plate of oldschool electronic sounds, served with portions of funky disco melodies and contemporary computerised rhythms. The song explores the harshness of the modern dating game, a topic everyone can relate to. However this record fails to excite and doesn’t offer up anything overtly innovative, but with a bit more time and development I think there is room for growth.
