CLOUD NOTHINGS – Now Here In

‘Now Here In’ is a release from indie rock group Cloud Nothings taken from their most recent LP titled Here and Nowhere Else released in April this year.
The track is highly punk influenced with heavily distorted guitars and a typical punk drum pattern emphasising a fondness for the snare. The vocals of Dylan Baldi are particularly raucous in the chorus as he croaks ’I can feel your pain and I feel alright about it’.
The video directed by Jordan Blackmon brings together a collage of shot, manipulated and found footage that compliments the sporadic nature of the track. The black and white footage follows a particularly disturbed ‘Frank’ like character and highlights themes such as identity and the birth and death of egoism.
‘Now Here In’ is an incredibly catchy track with hooks to grab the attention of even the most indifferent listener. The energy throughout the track is relentless and it delivers a hard-hitting heavy sound that really packs a punch.
