Shimmering, glossy and radiant are some of the first words which burst in to my mind from listening to Go Wolf’s ‘Talk To You’. The song is smooth electro-pop at its best, not holding back the drum machines or the cool lavishing sounds of wistful synths. Endearing yet charming the simplicity of the lyrics “Can I talk to you?” echoes a shy teenage boy who has finally mustered up the courage to talk to his pending crush, which adds a youthful and sweet note to the undoubtedly great dance track. With segments of heightened euphoria in abundance and sharply produced, it is no wonder the group which formed in Belfast at a poetry night are already receiving a lot of attention. Having already supported the likes of London Grammar and made an appearance at T in the Park as of his year, ‘Talk To You’ is just an inkling of what Go Wolf have to offer.
