A brand new band which features former members of the amazing Glassjaw, Thursday AND From Autumn To Ashes, named Get Involved!… which everyone most certainly will. The sound is a mixture of the influences from their previous bands, but they are also creating a new hard-hitting sound as well. ‘Apathy’ is full of aggressive lyrics and guitars at full throttle, which should mark their territory on today’s rock scene.

Get Involed! is made up of guitarist Todd Weinstock (Glassjaw), guitarist Brian Deneeve (From Autumn To Ashes), drummer Tucker Rule (Thursday), with lead vocalist Derrick Karg-Zaumdio and bassist Marcus Russell Price. Naturally being in successful former bands, Get Involved! will be wanting to shake the already known sounds and reviews surrounding them – by sending out a brand new assault on the music world, and ‘Apathy’ does just that.

This song is taken from their first EP entitled Silk Cuts – a four track hit out at the scene, and one which is sure to leave listeners wanting more. ‘Apathy’ is full of familiar sounds for post hardcore fans, with a modern twist, and is the perfect start and lead track for the EP.

For anyone into the former bands which make up three fifths of Get Involved! this will be the perfect follow on from any gaping space that has been left. Hopefully there is more to come, in the shape of a full length album…
