Employing some interesting layered effects and a catchy riff, ‘Lipstick’ is a good potential electronic dance track for those upbeat summer party playlists. The track is certainly much stronger instrumentally than vocally; while the vocals are likely meant to be rather robotic to blend with the electronics, personally I would prefer more expressive vocals. The lyrics are also not great but the texture instrumentally is good – and with this type of music that is what matters the most.
