Copland launches her brand new debut solo album on 21st May with Support from one of the game-changing and elusive , Actress as well as John T Gast and Mike Levitt. Plastic People serves up the perfect atmosphere for a dutty rave in the heart of East London. Limited capacity means this one will sell FAST, we mean it when we say don’t sleep on it!
Following a split from Hype Williams, the band’s founding member Inga Copeland proceeds to make music under a simplified moniker – Copeland. The producer and vocalist’s output continues to grow, consisting of her solo material as well as ongoing and new collaborations with John T. Gast, DVA, The Bug and Martyn, amongst others.
Actress, aka Darren J. Cunningham, has always demonstrated an acute ear for musical talent and exploration of sound in which he has discovered and released some of the most widely talked about artists of the emerging bass generation, namely Disrupt, Zomby, Lukid and Starkey. Actress’ DJ sets vary intelligently moulded on the night and mood, but generally programmed to suit afro-futuristic sounds of all persuasions.
