Chad Vangaalen is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist and illustrator. ‘Where Are You’ is one of the tracks from his fifth album Shrink Dust to be released on April 28 this year. Before this there have, of course, been acknowledged releases and plenty of successful collaborations.

‘Where Are You?’ is a brave track certainly not from this universe. Its harmonics are hidden among the obesity of cosmic electronic noises and trembling rhythm. Chad’s vocals appear to be sincere in this song and extremely heartbreaking as they reach the peak asking “Where are you?”

The video for ‘Where Are You’ consists of twisted animations that Chad Vangaalen did in different years. Both his music and video are outrageously non-commercial so be the one to dare and check it!
