The Annie Eve EP opens with ‘Bodyweight’, an emotional track led by acoustic guitar and soaring lead vocals with harmonic backing. The vocals are truly lovely on this track. The touching vocals continue onto the next track ‘Elvis’ with a raw sliding guitar melody and echoed vocals. The EP has a very intimate feel to it. The third track ‘Hunters’ has more of misty quality to it with blurred guitars and ghostly vocals. The last track is a live version of ‘Elvis’ which is actually a bit better than the studio version due to the lovely intimate quality of it. Annie Eve reminds me of a British version of Michelle Branch. A touching EP.
