THIS FRIDAY!

Friday’s Modeselektor event at London’s Roundhouse was already one of the most highly anticipated electronic music curated evenings ahead of the summer, but now Siriusmo has been added to the bill. The bass-heavy hiphop and futuristic house producer completes a lineup that features Modeselektor’s live show (which AAAmusic saw twice in 2012, with both set being festival season highlights), one of the greatest modern producers Apparat, and Mouse On Mars, a duo who deserve more credit than they get for their influence on experimental IDM (see our review here).

This Siriusmo show comes ahead of his eagerly anticipated second album ‘Enthusiast’, which will be released next month. As if the lineup wasn’t enough to entice electronic music fans, there are added incentives. For starters, this is the only chance to see Modeselektor live in the UK in 2013! Plus, seeing them and Apparat on the same stage only ramps up the excitement around the return of Moderat later this year (Modeselektor + Apparat = Moderat). Lastly, there is an early screening of the acclaimed documentary ‘We Are Modeselektor’, which will kick start the evening.
