Scrimshire – Live

7pm-11pm at The Shacklewell Arms
Tickets: £5 early birds, £7 advance, £12 late buyers
To celebrate the release of his new single “Convergent”, Scrimshire takes to the stage at The Shacklewell Arms in Dalston for his first ever full live headline show in London. No stranger to Soundcrash, last year Scrimshire blew the roof off KOKO ahead of a mind bending DJ set from Bonobo.
Sporting a five piece band for a delivery of live looping, frantic afrobeat or electronic driven beats combined with moments of downbeat heaviness this is one show you do not want to miss. Scrimshire finds himself as much at home on stage as he does in the studio. The fruits of his studio work came to fruition last year with his album “The Hollow” which gained him a legion of fans including Gilles Peterson who in May named it as his album of the week on BBC 6 Music.
With Scrimshire’s third album “Bight” set for release later this year, the March 14th live show will no doubt offer an ear opener into this dynamic producer’s next moves. Mark your diaries.
