By everything unholy, New Heavy Sounds has done it again. In Gift of the Sun we have everything you could possibly want out of a cracking stoner/sludge metal single, swagger, heaviness (by the fucking ton) and the filthiest riffs you can imagine. Combine that with the barest, most tantalizing hint of a melody buried beneath the ugliness and there you have it. London based riff merchants Limb have been doing the rounds for a while now and with calling cards like Gift of the Sun and the B-sides of this single Quiet Earth and Dead Voice burning holes in their back pockets, they should be on the path to becoming legends in what they do in short order.
