As much as I like to be nice and all, I am finding it hard to be with this one. From the orchestral opening to the cheesy and clichéd lyrics the whole thing just really isn’t for me. The song is polished and well produced, in a gospel embellished soul style. The vocals are husky and melodic contralto which blends nicely with the easy listening style instrumental. Unfortunately it’s also utterly boring and unoriginal. It would make pleasant background music but it’s not a memorable track.
