Dizraeli and the Small Gods – Million Miles

Million Miles is the new release by Dizraeli and the Small Gods. This is a bit of an eclectic style; it mixes a few genres together.
The different styles of vocals, from male rap to female singing, provides interesting variation that helps to keep the interest of the listener very well. The harmony is not vastly complex, but neither is it boring or uninteresting. There is just enough there to provide a rich enough structure to support the song very well. The use of the strings in the opening is very unique for the genre, along with the other instruments used, provides a pleasing tone to the overall pieces. The melodies are varied and help to create musical interest; this in turn helps to keep the musical flow. The beat is held in place by a steady percussion which is not too loud or overpowering. Very pleasant and just enough for this song.
Overall, this is a well constructed release. The elements work well together and form a pleasing overarching structure.
