GRIZZLY BEAR PREMIERE VIDEO FOR GUN-SHY PLUS THEY ANNOUNCE THEIR BIGGEST UK HEADLINE SHOW TO DATE

Grizzly Bear are exclusively premiering the new video for “gun-shy” today via Tumblr. The video is featured on the band’s newly launched page and in the Tumblr Radar section, which is seen by all Tumblr users. Watch here: grizzlybearband.tumblr.com
“The idea came from a question: if the creative energy of any living organism could be seen, what would it look like?” explains director Kris Moyes. “Ed, Daniel, T and Bear demonstrate where their creative energy is located by extracting their hair, nails, skin, sweat, tears and blood. This is an invitation for a very rare glimpse of what creative energy could look like on a molecular level, if it could be seen.” Watch the video on Youtube here
The band also today confirmed its’ biggest UK show to date at London’s Alexandra Palace, headlining and curating ATP’s I’ll Be Your Mirror festival on May 5th (Yeah Yeah Yeahs headline/curate May 4th). Also confirmed to play on May 5th are Van Dyke Parks, The Walkmen, Tortoise, Real Estate, Cass McCombs and I Break Horses, with more to be confirmed.
