Belfast rock and folk singer-songwriter Andy White travels the world carrying an acoustic guitar . Originally from Belfast, he now lives in Australia and has  recorded music with Peter Gabriel, Van Morrison and the Finn brothers.

 

In 2011 Andy published his autobiography 21st Century Troubadour at Lagan Press. It was a 300 page 90,000 word rock’n’roll on the road story with his friend Stephan Fearing to support their joint album Fearing and White.

 

The 2CD album 21st Century Troubadour by Andy White was released on April 10th, 2012 on the Floating World label. It’s based on the book of the same name.

 

The albums include fourteen eclectic tracks from Andy’s back catalogue. He’s a fine observer of life and competently fuses the spoken and written word with music. Inspired and illuminating stories accompany the songs and his  personal experiences are recalled with great insight, humour and some wonderful imitations of people he has met.
