‘The Bleach Room’ is the new album by Ulterior. A specific genre for this album would be a bit difficult to places as it certainly has elements of a few.

The vocals are interesting, creating intriguing melody lines that weave in and out of the backing instrumentals. The instrumentals consist of some standard rock/metal instruments (such as the electric guitar using some distortion) as well as what seems to be some other stranger sounds which blend together with the vocals to make a very interesting harmony. The beat is kept in place by strong percussions, which don’t swamp the piece, which is very pleasing.

Overall, it is a good album; well worth listening to a few times to really let it sink in as well as time again with its replay value.
