Dragonfly is the new single by Transformer. This single seems to be a mix of rock and other styles, some elements of electronic music do seem very apparent. Overall I would say that they would happily fit in Electronic.
The vocals are quite simple, but interesting. They provide some contrast to the backing instrumentals which create an overall sense of musicality. The use of different electronic instruments to create the instrumentals in this single is very intriguing. The harmonies between the instruments aren’t very complex, but provide enough musical interest to allow the pieces to be held in their musical interest. The beats are kept in place by drums that are not too overpowering, not affecting the vocals or the instrumentals in a negative way at all.
Overall, this single is very catchy and fun to listen to. The melodies and harmonies create an eclectic sound with the choice of instruments that could be easily listened to in many different situations.
