Following their album Full Service, Limozine release their new single Tokyo 1970. As can be guessed from the title this new release keeps the bands’ trashy punk rock style, reminiscent of the Ramones and the Stooges but this time with a hint of the orient. The song opens with a Japanese gong and then in comes the guitar and punky vocals. It’s simple but utterly catchy and commercial. The sort of song you can’t get out of your head all day whether you want it there or not. And believe me there are worse songs to stick in your head than this. Nothing impressive or spectacular but who cares, it’s fucking catchy that’s what it is.
