Bad Powers is the new album by Bad Powers. This album can be considered part of a hard/heavy rock genre, with some elements of metal.
The vocals are rather interesting; the singer uses her voice to change from melodic singing to shouting, which is still quite melodic, making a change for some tracks of this genre. The instrumentals aren’t too complex, but create interesting sounds together with base harmony with the vocals to create and overarching sense of musical homogeny. Use of unusual instruments of the genre make the tracks quite appealing and add to the replay value. The drums are rather simple, some complexity at parts, but they generally keep the rhythms and beat of the tracks to good effect.
Overall, this track isn’t good for general listening, but when you are in the right setting, it is very interesting and the melodies, harmony and use of unusual instruments make the album very pleasing to the ear and a definite album to listen to again.
