It took James Iha a while to produce another solo album, as he’s been busy with other projects and bands. Finally, here comes Look To The Sky, a collection of acoustic and electric guitar accompanied by electronic keyboard, which better suit his soft, delicate voice. Packed with guest artists such as Schlesinger, Tom Verlaine, Sara Quin, Nina Persson, Karen O and Nick Zinner, the album boosts great melancholy melodies such as Summer Days and even a touch of Simon and Garfunkel in Dream Tonight.

The beauty of this work lays in the versatile musical genres which cohabitate it: if you ever wondered what James Iha listens to, here you’ll have your answer, and it will be a pleasant, interesting discovery.
