Seaming Mermaid is an eclectic mix of sounds that create an interesting series of tracks. The vocals are interesting and provide a strange sound that works well with the backing music. The overall music throughout is more similar to a soundtrack than music that could be listened to on the go. The second track Mermaid seems to be the main focus of the four and could easily fit in many different situations. The harmonies within the tracks are quite odd, but work rather well to achieve a sense of overall musical interest, changing from track to track.

This doesn’t feel like music that could easily listened to on the go, rather more something that could be listened to in a setting or in a soundtrack-like time.
