Bury It There is the new EP from Brit-school graduate Kimberly Anne. The EP consists of 5 tracks, opening on title track “Bury It There”- this is a mid tempo, acoustic tune with jazzy guitar accompaniment and a cool vocal performance from Kimberly Anne who has beautiful intonation and tone to her voice.
“LA LA” is a slower paced tune that features multiple layered harmonies- similar to the style of Imogen Heap these harmonies lay the basis for the song, while the main melody weaves in and out of the tune. “Kind Regards” is a track that brims with confidence and attitude- Kimberly Anne’s vocals take on a feisty tone in this track and there is a hint of urban soul to be heard in the melody of this track which is great to hear. Overall this is a solid EP, and it is a good introduction to the music of Kimberly Anne. While she isn’t exactly reinventing the wheel in terms of originality- there is genuine song writing and vocal talent to be heard here.
