The Robbie Boyd Band are described as a “feel-good funky folk” ensemble from London. The band have a natural knack for creating excellently crafted folk-pop tunes that are guaranteed to stick in your head after only one listen. With their new track “When I Believe in Love” they do not disappoint!
The track starts off very slowly, with only vocals and muted instrumentation, however by the time the chorus rolls around things are in full swing and The Robbie Boyd Band expertly showcase their signature folk-inspired sound. The tune is not too far from some of Scouting For Girls earlier material, especially in terms of radio appeal- something which this track has in bucket loads.
