VIZA RELEASE NEW VIDEO FOR ‘ALABAMA SONG’

VIZA have just released a new video for ‘Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)’ their new summer single recorded ahead of their debut UK show.

“We always felt Whisky Bar had a nice VIZA taste to it and the Doors have always been one of our major influences,” stated Viza vocalist Knoup.

“We definitely added a strong VIZA twist to this classic incorporating our own sound and new flavors to make it a bit of a more aggressive rendition,” added Viza’s oud player Andrew Kzirian.

In terms of the making of the video, director Shant Hamassian raided Knoup’s house, commandeering various pieces of decor and figurines which in turn became the stars of the actual music video.  Hamassian also directed Viza’s recent music video for the band’s single ‘Carnivalia’.
