DARLINGSIDE RELEASES NEW ALBUM
PILOT MACHINES
AVAILABLE TODAY, JULY 17
String rock quintet, Darlingside, releases debut full length album, Pilot Machines, today, July, 17, 2012.
Consisting of a mandolin, cello, violin, guitars, and drums, Darlingside has dubbed themselves the “String-Rock Quintet.” Their music weaves together indie rock, classical, and folk to create a distinct sound that pushes the genre-laid boundaries. The debut full length, Pilot Machines, co-produced with Nathaniel Kunkel (Sting, Crosby/Nash, Maroon 5), is an insistently melodic collection of fresh tracks that feel familiar yet ground-breaking.
Alongside the album release, Darlingside releases their latest visual for single “Blow the House Down.” The music video incorporates stop motion cinematography set with tea lights that move from simple shapes to creating complex ties and words.
Pilot Machines is available now for purchase at iTunes, Amazon, and www.darlingside.com.
