Viza’s newest and most acclaimed album “Carnivalia” will be released in the UK on August 1, 2012 at a special first ever London show at the Borderline in Soho. Through Carnivalia, Viza continues to showcase its strain of fusion rock by producing upbeat hard rock, unique harmonies, distorted ouds and wild percussion that leaves listeners yearning for more. Carnivalia’s bizarre and eccentric atmosphere seeks to engage listeners into a world of quirky entertainment and mystery, all while employing a unique sound that harnesses Viza’s hard rock and fusion elements.

“We are thrilled to visit London and the band has received much positive feedback from fans in the UK,” stated lead vocalist K’noup.

Viza will kick off its Summer 2012 tour in London and then invade Europe for nearly a month of festivals and headliner shows. This tour will feature a special Viza appearance at the Sziget Festival, which was voted Europe’s Best Music Festival, where Viza will share the stage with acts like Korn, LMFAO, Swedish House Mafia and several others.

The band has gained international acclaim in recent years, and the album and video releases of “Carnivalia” only amplified this trend. Fans all over the world already experienced Viza’s new work via the group’s live performances. The band has demonstrated tremendous success with constant touring throughout various parts Europe such as Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Zurich, Bologna, Copenhagen, Oslo, Malmo, Prague, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Budapest and Athens. Viza also supported System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian’s solo performances for his “Imperfect Harmonies” tour in August 2010, and has continued to build a robust European presence.

“Loving the new record; Carnivalia’s awesome. I love hearing the new influences and the fun loving spirit and musical wizardry. Overall a really great effort,” said System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian. “Viza is one of the most unique and interesting bands I have ever encountered. Their live shows are energetic and fun,” he added. Tankian also served as Executive Producer of Viza’s previous album entitled “Made In Chernobyl”.

“The music is very exciting. We had a lot of fun making this album and it is something that can be witnessed since it is transmitted in our music,” remarked Viza oud player Andrew Kzirian.

“We are really excited to perform in London for the first time and I know fans are going to really love our show,” he added.
