A quirky mixture of a jazzy vamp, funfair-like sounding synths and some honky-tonk piano provides the most entertaining moments of this song. Similarly effective is the musical dialogue held between the male and female lead vocalists – sounding like something straight out of a musical. Sadly, this all leads into a rather forgettable and overly repetitive standard pop music chorus which lacks the idiosyncratic character of the verses. Consequently, the song fails to capitalise on the impact of the initial idea, and as such, offers less and less on repeat listens.
