London band Breton release a new double sided single “Jostle/Foam” on the 18th of June, which comes from their debut album. The band have been doing very well since the release of their album which has been well received and praised for its unique blend of styles and their smooth indie style. They have been playing shows all over the UK and even in the States while over the next few weeks they will bring their shows to many European cities.
This single release deserves to break Breton through to a higher level of recognition. “Jostle” is a superb song- a choppy number that builds and builds in sound and with interesting touches of electronic sounds throughout that gives the song something unique and memorable.
Foam is an equally great track that has even more of an electronic sound than Jostle. The guitars are left aside for this song while the beats and melody take centre stage. It is a great club friendly dance track with a hypnotic beat and an infectious flow from start to finish. I will definitely be checking out more of Breton.
