Chicago label Thrill Jockey Records have announced the signing of Guardian Alien and the forthcoming release of their debut album ‘See the World Given to a One Love Entity’, out on July 23rd 2012 in the UK and Europe.

Guardian Alien developed from of the solo work of drummer Greg Fox, known for his work with Teeth Mountain, Dan Deacon, New Party Systems and Liturgy, and named the Best Drummer in New York by the Village Voice last year. The group also features current Liturgy member Bernard Gann.

They will be playing a residency in June at La Sala Cultural Center in Brooklyn, Hopscotch Festival and more.
