The Dead Sons’ new single Room 54 is a hectic, strangled rock song whose Arctic Monkeys influence, complete with the heavy QOTSA aftertaste, is a most pleasing one. As fellow Sheffield-ers the Dead Sons’ recapturing of such sounds is quick and to the point; a swift and charismatic take on the sound that defined the decade.
