Clockwork Radio is an alternative rock band from Wales, formed in 2007 in Caernarfon and now based in Manchester. They released their Sketch EP in the autumn of 2011.
The group comprises: Rich Williams (Vocals/Guitar), Dan Wiebe (Percussion), Iwan Jones (Vocals/Guitar), Nadim Mirshak (Vocals/Bass) and Sam Quinn (Piano/Synths).
Feel It Up is the lead single from their EP Ubunto released on 28th May, 2012 via Poly Tune Records.
In style the song is a vibrant fusion of guitar based indie rock and psychedelia. Afro Caribbean inspired and with rolling tribal drums, it evolves into jazz funk with a retrospective romantic feel.
Excited fans may adore Feel It Up as a catchy, dynamic and energetic song. Sceptics may feel it just doesn’t have sufficient charm, inventiveness or originality.
