THE BOTS announced as main support on UK and Holland June Tenacious D shows / Supporting Less Than Jake at the end of June
THE BOTS can now announce that they will be main support to the mighty Tenacious D on half of their sold out UK and Dutch shows, including two nights at Brixton Academy. They will also be staying in the UK after the tour, to play some headline shows, one offs, regional shows AND the end of June Less Than Jake tour dates. ALL these dates are below. THE BOTS are LA based brothers Mikaiah Lei, 18, and Anaiah Lei, 15, who recently completed a UK tour with Tellison, before playing The Great Escape and heading off to play the Les Inrocks house party at The Cannes Film festival.

Recent release, the UK only EP ‘How to Make Friends’ received press, praise and huge radio support with the likes of Radio 1 (Zane lowe, Fearne Cotton, Dan Carter, Huw Stevens Mike Davies), XFM (Ian Camfield, John Kennedy, Mary Anne Hobbs), Kerrang radio, magazine, Front, Rock Sound, Wonderland, Total Guitar, The Fly Magazine and more. Live wise in the USA, THE BOTS have played shows with the likes of Bad Brains, Mos Def, Lionize, Street Dogs, Sharks, Youth Brigade, I Set My Friends On Fire, Death Punch, Saul Williams, among numerous others. The band have also headed out on both the Vans Warped Tour 2010 and 2011 (the youngest band EVER to play the tour, Anaiah was just 13 years old), as well as the Afro-Punk Tour 2009 and 2010. Work is set to commence on their new EP and then album in the next few months, set for a late 2012/early 2013 release worldwide.
