Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Rise Ye Sunken Ships, Brooklyn’s We Are Augustines are back with their new single, Juarez. Intimate soft strummed guitar meets gruff and passionate vocals. The lyrics tell an intimate story of a town on the Mexican side of the US border. The lyrics are serious, telling of violence and the destruction of a town. It’s a very tense and powerful track. A hoarse tale of Americana. Passionate and heartfelt but not anything particularly special.
