The inaugural Poptronik Festival will showcase some of the freshest and brightest new pop and electronic music acts over a summer weekend in Spain with a promise of “zero mud” and maximum sunshine.
BARCELONA / LONDON, April 30th 2012 – EQ Music and Aztec Records are thrilled to announce the 2012 Poptronik Festival, a weekend celebration of pop and electronic music to be held in the beautiful and unspoiled Catalan beach town of Sitges, Spain on 1st and 2nd September 2012.
The initial lineup will feature international headline acts KAZAKY making a stop on their A-MEN Tour and have recently been gaining massive worldwide popularity after their appearance in MADONNAʼs “Girl Gone Wild” music video.
#1 Billboard recording artist MARTIKA will be returning to the stage for the first time in over 20 years performing new material from her forthcoming album “The Mirror Ball” as well as her international smash hits, “Toy Solders” and the Prince penned – “Love Thy Will Be Done”.
The Poptronik Festival aims to showcase a plethora of new and emerging electronic pop artists including festival favorites MONARCHY along with BRIGHT LIGHT BRIGHT LIGHT, MONTI MONTANEZ of MENUDO, ADAM TYLER, NINA, WOMAN E, JOHNNY LAZER, SUGASMAK! and SIRPAUL with many more acts and headliners to be announced over the coming months.
The festival will also include many well-known international DJs like Gaydar Radioʼs PHIL MARRIOTT, TERRY VIETHEER, DISCO DAMAGE, SAM LEMANS and SCISSOR SISTERS Tour DJ – SAMMY JO.
