Spellbinding yarns and tall tales abound as the Green Man Literature Tent returns for 2012 with a brilliantly bookish line-up of authors, poets, comics and commentators. Here’s a tiny taster:

John Peel’s Shed by John Osborne – Play writer, poet and comic “genius” John Osborne brings his critically acclaimed play “John Peel’s Shed” to Green Man.
Jim Bob – Best known as one half of Carter USM, Jim Bob will be discussing his latest novel, “Driving Jarvis Ham”, a novel for anyone who has ever found themselves looking across at a childhood friend and wondering why they still know them.
Robin Ince – Robin Ince’s Bad Book Club is a celebration of the world’s worst and inadvertently, hilarious books.
John Jeremiah Sullivan – Writing “non-fiction, alternative histories” John Jeremiah Sullivan will be treating us to a whole heap of interesting essays on christian rock festivals, reality TV, Axl Rose and the formative years of Michael Jackson.
Richard King – His new book, “How Soon is Now” is a landmark survey of independent music; the record labels and the inspirational, eccentric and visionary figures who created them.
Stella Duffy – Writer, actor and theatre director Stella Duffy will be on-hand to discussion the inner workings of her latest novel, “The Purple Shroud”.
The Story of Wales With Jon Gower – An ambitious account of Welsh history and Wales is examined on an epic timescale, from the earliest settlements through to the present day.
