Einstein’s Garden returns to Green Man 2012

Einstein’s Garden’s theme this year is ENERGY. With help from Green Man’s partners Research Councils UK, they’ve joined forces with lots of real scientific experts to find the most fun and fascinating ways to get to grips with anything and everything energy-related.

Explore the enchanting and inspirational side of science and nature with a dizzying array of live music, live theatre, live comedy, live animals, live scientists and maybe even a few lively explosions.

Prepare to cultivate your curiosity with a wonderful array of performances, installations, games, workshops, walks and talks to experience – all nestled into the very heart of Green Man’s stunning festival site.

The Alien Hunter’s Handbook A fun guide to the question of alien life beyond Earth with author/broadcaster Mark Brake and science rapper Jon Chase.

Andy Hickie Stories and laughter with the nomadic North Wales troubadour

Being 747 present ‘The Clockwork Universe’ From the makers of ‘Amoeba to Zebra’, Yorkshire-based astound-o-pop trio, BEING 747, make their debut in Einstein’s Garden to bring you a brand new scientific rock opera that will stretch your imagination to infinity, and possibly beyond – ‘The Clockwork Universe’

Black Mountains Falconry Meet majestic birds of prey and learn about their behaviour, evolution and natural environments with local falconer Roger James.

Green & Pleasant Land Epic physical adventure laced with live music. Peculiar places, curious customs, bicycle-generators and a quest for a greener future.

Greg Hall Songwriter, composer and ethnomusicologist for the British Library performs Bird House, “an anarchic adaptation of Hitchcock’s The Birds”.
