Benny Marchant’s newest single “Back To Life” not only got positive recognition on a recent U.S. radio promo tour, but also has been chosen to be played in the May 25th release of the Peck/Branded Pictures Entertainment feature film Crooked Arrows. Directed by Steve Rash (The Buddy Holly Story, with its 3 Academy Award nominations and the hugely success sequels to American Pie and Bring It On), Crooked Arrows is an original, uplifting sports movie which Benny is thrilled to be a part of.
“Back To Life” is the title single for a new LP that will be released on September 16th and will include collaborations with Michael Brauer (Coldplay, John Mayer, Paul McCartney) and Kevin Killen (U2, Shawn Colvin, Elvis Costello) among other notables. The EP is chock-full of earnest, noteworthy songs and performances.
Described as “a cross between Tom Petty and Pearl Jam (no, really)” by Los Angeles Magazine, Benny is looking forward to crossing the pond and sharing his distinctive sound.
