With their highly anticipated debut album set to be released on May 28th 2012, Colette and Hannah Thurlow, aka 2:54, are set to release the LP’s lead single, ‘Creeping’ (on June 18th) as premiered by Zane Lowe on his Radio 1 show recently. In addition, the band have been announced as main support to The XX on their eagerly-anticipated comeback show at London’s Chats Palace on May 15th.
Along with previously acclaimed singles ‘Scarlet’ and ‘You’re Early’, ‘Creeping’ is a perfect taster for the darkly entrancing pleasures in store with ‘2:54’. In addition, returning from an exciting stretch in America which included SXSW, and a blazing UK tour last month, the band are set to play their biggest ever headline show yet, at London’s legendary Scala venue on June 7th, joined by a sterling supporting cast of both Gross Magic and Echo Lake. That show will be preceded by a special free set at London’s Rough Trade East store to inaugurate the album release on May 31st.
