Bonobo is back! Si ‘Bonobo’ Green has been ever so, pleasingly busy in recent times. Following his blissful 2010 LP ‘Black Sands’, the Ninja Tune legend released a ‘Black Sands Remixed’ version earlier this year to critical acclaim, featuring collaborations with Floating Points, Machinedrum, Blue Daisy, and Lapalux (among other heavyweights). In support of this release Bonobo has been hitting the decks hard, storming Village Underground and joining Leftfield at Brixton Academy – but the most notable set, at least for me, was his Boiler Room performance, which went down as one of THE best Boiler Room sets in BR history.

This 1st June show looks to be particularly special, because A. it’s at Hackney’s ultra cool new warehouse venue 2932 East, and B. he’s playing for THREE HOURS.

Joining the electronic maestro will be fellow Ninja Tune mate, and dependable mood maker Raffertie, as well as Throwing Snow (aka Ross Tones, MD of A Future Without), who recently performed a breathtakingly warming live set supporting the fabulous Daedelus at Village Underground.
