Sweet Lights’ new single ‘Are We Gonna Work It Out’ begins with a bang, and then it just seems to fall from there. That’s not to say it is a bad track, it just seems to be leading you somewhere that it never actually takes you; piano builds, guitars step up, drums begin to bang and Shai Halperin repeatedly asks “are we gonna work it out?” then it ends. This may well be a clever piece of song writing, but as for a single, it doesn’t quite fly.
