The Bermondsey Joyriders – Noise and Revolution

| On 15, Apr 2012

Blues rock ‘n’ roll influences seem to come from a cross between Hives and Motorhead. This is a little pub rock but has also some hints of the Who in their with trashing guitars. On this new album you get a massive twenty one songs, a few do sound the same. I like the songs about being ‘Proper English’ and having a ‘Cuppa Tea’ but they don’t really fit with the rock punk blues of some of the other songs on the album. If I was having a few beers down my local pub I wouldn’t mind this being played in the background cause I think it would be good drinking music. I also found out on drums they have Rat Scabies who used to play drums for the Damned in the band for live shows so that would be cool to cause he also puts on a good show. I can see where there is a place for this and a few of my friends would love this but this one is not for me I find a few of the songs a bit repetitive and it didn’t have the wow factor but it is good pub rock.
