This is very 80’s electronic sounding like the singers voice it’s very distinctive and they have some great sounds. They seem to do story telling in their songs like in opener ‘Silent Disco’ trying to work out if the song is about the Silent Disco craze that has been going round the festival scene. There is a really fun element to song ‘Open Up’ that makes you think of bubbles and the band the ‘Lightning Seeds’ it’s very like songs like ‘Marvellous’ and ‘Pure’ this is really good, a little dated but this stuff is coming back there is a brit-pop revival and this one mixes it with a electronic sound that is very in at the moment. Track ‘Perfect Storm’ has a funky bass line and is quite epic.
