Bella Union are pleased to announce a host of special releases in celebration of this year’s Record Store Day which takes place on Saturday 21st April 2012. The limited edition items lovingly assembled by some of the label’s finest artists include coloured vinyl from Andrew Bird, M. Ward and Jonathan Wilson. In an extra-special exclusive Lanterns On the Lake will be releasing a 12″ mini-abum featuring six incredible remixes from ‘Gracious Tide, Take Me Home’ by the likes of Laurel Halo, Sun Glitters and Man Without Country… Fans of The Czars will be pleased to hear that the band’s wonderful 2006 covers album ‘Sorry I made you cry’ will be released on 12″ vinyl, whilst Xiu Xiu and Dirty Beaches devotees will be treated to a split 7″… As previously announced, Beach House will release “Lazuli” on 7″ blue opaque vinyl.
