Second single for young Londoners The Wild Mercury Sound, a four-piece already in the eye of the media thanks to the attention given to them by the sorts of Steve Lamacq and Dermot O’Leary.

AAA Music was one of the firsts in pointing out the talent of this band and our loyalty has been rewarded with several sold-out shows, as the one at the Barfly, Camden, closing the tour to celebrate first single Miss Frost.

Now, released by Cartoon Records, it’s the turn of Slow, three minutes and thirty-five seconds of their trademark sound, crescendos of impetuous guitars and frantic drumbeats. Imagine an illegitimate child between Incubus and the early Radiohead; not turn on the volume, and you’ll have an idea of what we’re talking about.

Slow is accompanied by a video directed by Debbie Scanlan and edited by Liz Adams.
