Overkill have kind of passed me by over the years, I know the name but could not really tell you what songs they have done. On first listen they are a good standard thrash band. I am not very keen on the vocals but they standard thrash riffs on the album are great but you have heard them before.

Some of the lyrics are not very sensible and I think they could have thought of something better to go with the music. There are some really good songs on this album thou like ‘Wish you were Dead’ that seems like its been played at the speed of lightning to get through it as quick as they can, I also like ‘Drop the Hammer’ which reminds me in places of some ‘Megadeth’ stuff just with different vocals.

I love the artwork you cannot go wrong with electrifying a monster and it’s just what you want from a thrash album.
This is good, nothing new but make your own mind up on it.
