Epica – Requiem for the Indifferent

| On 21, Mar 2012

Ok a lot of people have been waiting for the new Epica album and they will not be disappointed, Their symphonic sound makes you think of mid-era ‘Nightwish’ and now that they have changed to a different kind of ‘Abba’ there is a place for ‘Epica’ the song ‘Storm the Sorrow’ is very operatic and heart-felt and gives you faith in humanity. The album contains amazing harmonies and could be in places a work by ‘Enya’ or a soundtrack to a film.
This is very good and if you like power and symphonic metal you will love this and the vocals sound like ‘Liv Kristine’ in places which is a very good thing. The album is a journey through a wonderland created by ‘Epic’ so put on your seat belts and ride it.
