The Lancashire Hotpots help BBC6 Music DJ relocate to the North West…

The Lancashire Hotpots (The “Mumford & Puns” of the North West…!) are offering their North West knowledge to BBC Radio 6 Music DJ Chris Hawkins in readiness for his move to Media City in Salford to begin a new chapter of his 6 Music Show.
Shropshire born Chris Hawkins has broadcast around most of the BBC regions, but his life with BBC6 Music has pretty much revolved around London. When news came through that his sparkling new studio was ready, he decided there was nothing else for it than to move lock stock and two smoking broadcast quality mic’s to the North West with his family.
As the move edged closer, Chris began to think more about life in the North West and especially around the Manchester area. What’s the best local food? Do I need to buy a round? Does The Ivy have a Manchester restaurant? He needed help and quickly, men with local knowledge, men who had been around the block… a few times. He needed The Lancashire Hotpot’s Whippetpedia Guide to the North!
